When it comes to making beautiful art, 77-year-old Mark Crossley has no intention of slowing down any time soon.

Crossley graduated from UNC-Asheville in 1969 with a chemistry degree, and was a member of the third graduating class UNCA ever had.

Crossley lives in Candler with his wife Betty Sue, a biologist who was also a graduate UNC-Asheville. She graduated in 1966, making her a part of the very first graduating class of UNCA.
